Viewers couldn’t hide their amusement as a Dutch boyband dubbed the Breunion Boys spoke of their hopes of reversing during an appearance on Good Morning Britain.
The band, who have released a single called Britain Come Back, were brought together by a Dutch artist who plans to take them on a tour of pubs in the UK. Mastermind Julia Veldman hopes that the emotion of the song will sway eers into rethinking their decision, as she believes the initial vote was a passionate one.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain today, the filmmaker said the band’s music would ‘change peoples’ minds’ about the decision to leave. However the group was roundly mocked by British users on social media, with many labelling the music as a reason to vote against remaining in a second referendum.
