Yemen’s ceasefire ‘on verge of collapsing’

Fighting has again flared up in cities across Yemen, putting a six-week-old UN-brokered ceasefire in jeopardy.

An already dire situation has pushed 14 million Yemenis close to famine.

Implementation of the truce agreement has been delayed will be pushed back and Patrick Cammaert, the retired Dutch general who was overseeing the truce, is being replaced by a Danish general.

The uncertainty is prompting worries that the agreement is fading away.
