US military gets lost, ‘invades’ small Romanian village, blames the weather

LoUS soldiers surprised the locals of the Ialomita County in Romania after they drove their tanks into agricultural fields.

To the relief of the residents, the troops weren’t there to invade them.

As it turned out, the soldiers had mistaken the coordinates and advanced through the fields by accident.

Still, this mistake had its consequences: according to locals, the tanks destroyed nearly 600 hectares of crops in their path.
